Inside Sketch Perspective
My sketch drawing came out really abstract looking. I feel like the perception of this abstract idea allowed the viewers to really feel like they are in an unusual habitat which is exactly how I wanted the feel to be. The colour scheme blends in with the whole series. This inside view allows you to feel like you are experiencing being inside the shed, it really creates a feeling of difference, it almost feels uncomfortable to be in but at the same time a really peaceful place.
Feedback
I received feedback for each of my Plan, Section, Elevation and Perspective. My plan was alright looking but as I got home I re looked at it and decided I should crop some of the surrounding boat sheds as it took away my boat shed being the focus point of my plan, now I feel as if people are forced to look at my boat shed now as it is obviously my focus point because of the sketches in the design. In my section I didn't like how my surrounding sky and concrete bottom washed out my section, however; once I darkened and thickened my boat shed walls and ground it suddenly corrected the focus point to be of my boat shed design. Meg challenged me with my Elevation and asked if I could add the actual boat shed colours and textures into my surrounding boat sheds, but to soften them out afterwards so that they still blended in with the background. It was tricky but I changed the opacity and added a grunge texture over top and used the "difference" filter as the whole back ground layer which successfully blended them in and still allowed the boat shed to be my focus point. I used this opportunity to add a more detailed drawing of what I want my boat shed outside walls to look like which was inspired by my week 2 book about Indian rugs which I got out from the Library. My perspective was good looking I thought but was similar looking to my elevation; difference being that the perspective is 3D. I decided to crop the boat sheds that where unnecessary and to also add my detailed drawing of my boat sheds outside walls onto the roof. In every design I removed the original design lines as they were pointless and quite out of context, I kept looking back at my designs and kept thinking to myself "what is the point in this line?" or "do I need this colour in here" I think this was really important for me to think of when finalising my images so that I kept to the main focus of trying to get my designs across to the viewers.
